Health Science Programs

In as little as 12-months, the student is awarded a Diploma in Practical Nursing and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and subsequently seek employment in the field. The program is approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing. In as few as 24-months, the student is awarded an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN) and subsequently seek employment in the field. The program is approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing. The program is designed to provide educational, lab, and clinical experiences leading to employment in an entry-level position as a registered nurse in hospitals or comparable facilities.

In as little as 12-months, the student will graduate from the MA program. This course introduces basic concepts of the use and maintenance of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Provides exposure to basic navigation of an EHR. Explores issues around privacy, security, government regulations, and ethical legal aspects of the health information technology environment. Lab included. 

In as little as 12-months, the student is awarded a Diploma in Registered Nursing and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and subsequently seek employment in the field. The program is approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing. The nursing program at Renaissance Career Institute is determined to provide the best education to students seeking a Diploma in Registered Nursing. The program is designed to provide educational, lab, and clinical experiences leading to employment in an entry-level position as a registered nurse in hospitals or comparable facilities.

This remedial program consists of 10 weeks of intensive including clinical hours to satisfy the Florida Board of Nursing NCLEX PN/RN remedial requirements. The theory is done online; however, a portion of the program is done in medical facilities and in simulation labs.

This remedial program consists of 8- weeks of intensive prepping for the NCLEX PN/RN.

In as few as 6-months, graduates of the program can seek career opportunities as psychiatric aides or psychiatric technicians as well as mental health technicians. These healthcare professionals can work as Mental Health Technicians in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health clinics, partial hospitalization programs, and other mental health facilities. The graduates will be encouraged to write the Certification Exam from the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians. Voluntary certification gives Psychiatric Technicians a way to gain recognition as paraprofessionals and display competency as well as the legitimate right to participate as members of mental health treatment teams.
